Change every mother can believe in, World Peace....
I was listening to the Gayle King show on Oprah Xm radio and she had a good question of the day, "If you could do or change one thing in the world to make it a better place, what would it be?". I agreed with most of the caller's ideas I got to thinking what would I do and it came to me I've thought for many years that if more mothers ran the world then there wouldn't really be war - so much of war is power hungry males. Mother's respect life, most mother's could pick up an orphan of any race or gender and love it like their own. It's just a part of who we are. We love and nurture, no mother in her right mind would send sons of to war to profit themselves. Sorry just wouldn't happen. So here's my "the one thing I would do"- for every man in power there should be a women in power as a counterbalance with equal authority and sway, in every country and nation in the world. Here's another idea why as women do we essentially let men rule our nation, really I mean where's the representation? Maybe I should start a new movement for women until we have equal power in washington we should only pay the percentage of taxes as percentage of women we have representing us! NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION FOR WOMEN!!!

The Love of a Really Good Man
I'm married to the best man I know, he works like a fiend (he has to keep up with my shopping habits,Sorry!)he fulfills his church calling as if he were getting a paycheck for it, he's patient beyond comprehension, he's never said a mean or negative comment to me in the 19 years we've been married (even when I was so fat and pregnant every time I looked in the mirror I jumped thinking "how did Rosie O'Donnell get in my bathroom!"), and he never ever farts in front of me! What an angel, I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I love waking up everyday and knowing that there is someone who loves me 100% just as I am, unconditionally. What more could a girl want?(I did see and amazing pair of Jimmy Choo sunglasses the other day....)

Claim to Fame- Mud flap girl
I'm not sure if this a post that I will regret but here goes, for posterity's sake. I have what some may consider a very curvaceous figure, not all natures doing I will admit. As you will find out I am a firm believer that a woman who sacrifices her body to bring forth God's beautiful children deserves to have it restored to it's former glory or better if she so chooses! So I have partaken in the glorious fruits of cosmetic surgery. Anyhow back on task here, so over the past few years my husband always thinks he is so funny as he points out (to me and anyone else around) the hideous mudflap girls and window decals of the sexy silhouette girls and makes comments like- "hey have you gotten a check for posing for that yet?" or "I can't believe they put you on their car, did they ask if they could do that?"- etc... Anyhow just so happened that my brother over heard one of my kids saying "Look there's a picture of Mommy on the back of that truck, I like Mommy with the angel wings better than the devil horns and tail!" Well he thought this was hilarious and it just so happens he's a song writer in Nashville and he wrote a song about it.....somebody bought the song. I will now be immortalized forever in tacky chrome lyrics for the rest of my life! Thank you Dr.David I think.

Future President- Part 3
I think I'm kinda on a roll here....Term limits for all elected officials (no more than 2 terms). No more lifetime out of touch w/reality career politicians, "Power Corrupts". I'm sure 90% of politicians started out with good intentions....Also I think this should be a volunteer position ya know like teaching Sunday School! Maybe I'd consider compensation for travel and expenses but no way is it reasonable to continue to pay these fat cats a pension and full health benefits the rest of their lives even if they only served one term it's just insanity!!!! If you really love this country you should be willing to serve her with out compensation and be able to accomplish your goals with a few years. How about that for budget cuts?

Future President- Part 2
Today as I was driving along doing the carpool thing I was thinking to myself -Ok so now that I've created jobs and solved our addiction to foreign oil with off shore drilling, and more jobs and less land fill by my extreme recycling centers, what's next? Flat tax rate one size fits all no more special interest sweetheart tax breaks screw them all- 10% across the board, rich or poor. This would also go for corporations and if you start a new corp, or relocate to the US the first year 0% tax rate as a start up bonus! Come on doesn't this sound easy? Several years ago Ireland implemented an 11% corp tax rate and they saw huge economic growth, so we beat them by 1%! Next up solar power everything, geez how pathetic that we can't figure out how to harness all that free and "GREEN" energy. There are so many brilliant americans out there this can't be too complicated. Here in Arizona we probably have enough solar power to run the whole country....do I smell more jobs coming on?

The Future President of the United States of America
Today one of my girls asked if me, "Mom if you were President what would you do on your first day?". That really got me thinking, there are two things I would want to do first off and this may seem weird and strangely conflicting. #1 start off shore drilling here in the US- it's insane that we sit on so many natural resources while we stuff the wallets of some seriously bad guys! Just plain stupid especially when there are amazingly high tech and safe drilling operations...duh! Ok so here's the oxymoron- second extreme recycling anyone who's hung out at my house knows my mantra "get that out of the trash, that can be recycled!". We need hi-tech recycling there is no reason for all that trash just screwing up our planet. Move over Sarah Palin!

Mean Girlz
Why is it that twins end up being fair game for rude, mean and generally cruel comments! Man I get so sick of hearing all the crap my twins take way to often. For some reason Mya ends up getting the brunt of it, not sure why she says it's because she's loud I think it's because she knows she's pretty and she's confident which can be intimidating. Today at school right to their faces a girl said Aly's face is Prettier than Mya's (to their faces!!!!). This stuff happens all the time.Girls can be soo mean! I'm glad my girls can laugh about it but, I know it hurts.
